A personal journey to a life-changing mission.

Hello and welcome. I’m Dr. G. 👋

I genuinely appreciate your support and interest in our pilot program.

As both a doctor and designer, my journey took an unexpected path when my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. This life-altering experience revealed that the essence of enhancing his quality of life resided not in medical facilities, but within the walls of our own home.

Through persistent effort and deep dedication, I discovered that simple, thoughtful changes to our living environment could lead to remarkable improvements in his daily life. What began as a quest to aid my father has transformed into a mission to support other families facing similar challenges.

Our homes are more than just buildings; they are sanctuaries that can nurture and heal. Yet, this vital aspect of care is often underestimated within our healthcare system. I am committed to changing this perspective by empowering families to adapt their homes to better serve loved ones with dementia.

With immense gratitude, I invite you to join our pilot program. Together, we can redefine dementia care by unlocking the potential of every home to enhance health and improve quality of life. Your participation is crucial in this meaningful endeavor, and I am thankful for your willingness to explore this journey with us.

Are you ready to learn my secrets?

With admiration and gratitude,

Dr. Gautam Gulati, MD, MBA, MPH, CID (aka Dr.G)
Founder of The Well Home

Meet Dr.G. Gulati,
your dementia design sherpa.

Dr. Gautam Gulati, or as he's commonly known, Dr.G. is a medical doctor, award-winning health artist, real estate investor, and certified interior designer.

He's made a career out of transforming homes into health sanctuaries. His journey began with his father's battle with Alzheimer's, which led him to realize the power our living spaces have on our health outcomes.

This discovery inspired him to create 'The Well Home', pioneering the field of 'Well Estate' - a mashup of interior design and health. Dr.G believes our homes are pivotal in disease prevention, graceful aging, and optimizing well-being.

Dr.G is not just a doctor with an eye for design, he's also a renowned speaker on health & innovation and an Adjunct Professor of Medical Innovation at JHU Carey Business School.

When he isn't redesigning homes or shaping minds, he enjoys outdoorsy pursuits, exploring luxury spas, tasting rare bourbons, and discovering historic barns.

Some little-known facts about Dr.G: he's been mistaken for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan by famed restaurateur Danny Myer, rocked crowds as a drummer and DJ, and has been served a beer by an actual donkey!

Dr. Gulati currently resides in Great Falls, VA, with his fabulous family and Goldendoodle.
